I'm Mel, and everything you see here—for better or worse—was designed and coded by me. GLBT Fantasy Fiction Resources is more of a passion than a hobby, and I've spent a decade tinkering with it, writing reviews, posting updates, answering questions, and working with other reviewers. I'd happily describe myself as transgendered, or genderqueer, and especially enjoy reading books with similar characters.
Some of my favorite authors are Octavia Butler, Maureen F. McHugh, Greg Egan, Joan Slonczewski, Jim Grimsley, James Alan Gardner, and Jeanette Winterson.
